HEAD’s New Contest Gives Tennis Players the Chance to Play Maria Sharapova

08/15/11 - HEAD announced today that they are introducing a new contest, Use Your Instinct to Play with Maria Sharapova, giving tennis players have the opportunity to win court time with Maria Sharapova. The new contest asks tennis players to demo the YouTek IG Instinct and then submit a 250 word essay or less on why Maria Sharapova should visit their tennis club. One lucky winner and two of their friends will play tennis with Maria Sharapova and receive an autograph session for tennis fans at their hometown tennis facility.

Other autographed memorabilia will also be awarded to first, second and third place winners including Maria Sharapova’s new tennis racquet, the YouTek IG Instinct, a Maria Sharapova Tennis Racquet Bag – Combi or a HEAD hat. All winners will be announced on October 26, 2011.

Essays will be judged based on creativity/originality/concept, inclusion of the YouTek IG Instinct, relevance to the contest theme, and completeness of essay. Entrants must live in the 50 United States (including Washington DC) and must be 14 years or older to enter. The contest will run from August 15, 2011 through September 30, 2011.
