04/13/10 - This innovative British company will be showcasing elements of its unique vision of the mobile sports arena. Their 'portable kit' comprising full size tiled tennis court, telescopic floodlights and a 160 seat hydraulic grandstand will be the centrepiece of the tennis zone where manufacturers will be demonstrating their new products to visitors at the show.

Founder of PopUpArena, Michael Milne-Home said: "The show is a very timely opportunity to show what we can create, very cost-effectively, for any sports club that recognises the enormous potential in hosting events by transforming the spectator experience - even for just one day."

The arena and court will be at the heart of the Tennis Show and will showcase a variety of related tennis activities provided by The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the brands.

The event, organised by the Golf Show Group in conjunction with the Tennis Industry Association UK (TIA), is supported by LTA and the Tennis Foundation (TF) also features the major tennis brands – Prince, Babolat, Wilson, Head, K Swiss, Asics, Nike and Adidas – whose products will be available through the official retailer FitCo.

Roger Draper, Chief Executive of the LTA, said: “The event will provide a one-stop shop for tennis enthusiasts to see, try and buy a range of tennis products - we are delighted that the show is free to every tennis club member in the country.”

Over 2000 people have taken advantage of the free entry available at www.londontennisshow.com which is being run alongside the already successful Golf Show with visitors for each show having free access to the other.
