04/17/07 - GREENVILLE, SC, - Dunlop Sports Group Americas today announced that it has been granted the worldwide licensing rights for the use of the legendary Peanuts characters, created by Charles M. Schulz, in the marketing and sales of its children sports products.

Dunlop has been assigned the global rights from United Media to utilize the characters and images from the Peanuts comic strip for children/junior golf and racquet sports products. The full range of products will become available throughout spring and summer, with brand new product lines in shops and stores by late summer.

“It’s very exciting for Dunlop to share the great fun of sports with young people and their parents who enjoy the Peanuts comic strip so much,” said Bob Sameski, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Dunlop Sports Group Americas. “We are happy to welcome Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang to the Dunlop family.”
