01/12/06 - Chicago -- Wilson Racquet Sports recently honored Joel Conybear, Territory Manager for Eastern New York and Long Island, with the 2005 Jack Kramer Award. The Kramer Award recognizes the Territory Manager who has exhibited sales excellence and the core values of Wilson in the areas of grassroots and brand impact in their territory.
Conybear, a resident of Cold Spring, NY, recently celebrated his ten-year anniversary with Wilson. He has been an instrumental part of the Wilson sales force for the Eastern New York and Long Island markets for the last nine years and is a former tennis instructor and facility manager.
“Joel Conybear has been a driving force behind Wilson’s eastern New York sales and brand efforts for the past decade and he continues to demonstrate his dedication to Wilson on a daily basis,” Jon Muir, Director of Sales & Marketing for Wilson, said.
The award is named after Jack Kramer, a Hall of Famer who was not only a legendary tennis player, but was a driving force in the evolution of the sport and who continues to be an ambassador for the sport and for Wilson.
